Terms & Conditions

1. General

By registering for the Asia Medical Library Seminar 2026 ("AMLiS 2026"), you agree to the following terms and conditions. AMLiS 2026 is organized by the Malaysian Medical Library Group (MLG) / Kumpulan Perpustakaan Perubatan Malaysia in collaboration with Business Events Sarawak.

2. Registration & Payment

• Registration is confirmed only upon successful payment.
• All payments are in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) unless stated otherwise.
• Each registration is for one individual only and is non-transferable unless approved by the organizer.
• Registration capacity is limited to 250 participants. Slots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

3. Pricing Tiers

AMLiS 2026 offers four registration categories, each with Early Bird and Normal pricing:

• PPM Member — Malaysian PPM members with discounted rates.
• Non-PPM Member — Malaysian participants who are not PPM members.
• Student — full-time students with valid student ID.
• International — participants from outside Malaysia.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

• Cancellations made 30 days or more before the event: full refund minus processing fees.
• Cancellations made 15–29 days before the event: 50% refund.
• Cancellations made less than 15 days before the event: no refund.
• Refunds will be processed within 14 business days to the original payment method.

5. Event Changes

The organizer reserves the right to modify the program schedule, speakers, or venue due to unforeseen circumstances. Registered participants will be notified of any significant changes via email. In the event of full cancellation by the organizer, all registered participants will receive a full refund.

6. Code of Conduct

All participants are expected to:

• Treat all attendees, speakers, and staff with respect and professionalism.
• Refrain from disruptive behavior during sessions.
• Follow all venue rules and safety guidelines.
• The organizer reserves the right to remove any participant who violates this code without refund.

7. Photography & Media

By attending the event, you consent to being photographed or recorded for official event documentation and promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed, please notify the registration desk upon arrival.

8. Liability

The organizer shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury sustained by participants during the event. Participants are advised to arrange their own travel insurance.
